Have you ever wondered how we can understand and express sensory experiences in words?
How do we rewrite memories by jotting them down?
How do the modes of sensing translate into each other?
How words transform into sound and pictures, smells into taste and touch into emotion?
The workshop will consist of three parts:
I The Event
II Note Taking
III Diary Writing
What to remember:
Time: 18.01.2014 / 10:00-19:00 (with lunch break and snacks and coffee)
Keep your eyes open (and your ears, and nose).
Be prepared to improvise,
You will simultaneously become the researcher and the researched
Bring along something to take notes, something you are most familiar with (like a notebook or the photo camera on your phone)
